Tuition & Affordability
Tuition & Fees
St. Andrew School is funded by tuition, the generosity of the members of St. Andrew Parish, and your gift of time and talent. The tuition we charge does not cover the cost of the education we provide. The difference is made up by a grant from the Parish whose source is the Sunday Collection. The extras are generously provided for by the funds raised by our Home School Organization (HSO). We strive to keep tuition as low as possible. Your gifts of “time, talent and treasure” in support of these fundraisers enable us to meet budget. You may give back by participating in our Active Tuition Plan also known as ATP. Doing so provides a generous reduction in your tuition each year.

Financial Aid, Scholarships, & Assistance
There are various ways to obtain financial assistance toward your tuition:
Church Subsidies: If you are a member of St. Mark’s, St. Rita’s, St. Ann’s or St. Andrew Catholic Church, you may be given a subsidy from your home church. Any church within the Harrisburg Diocese qualifies. In order to receive assistance, you must register with your parish office and fill out a Pastor’s Endorsement Form. You must be active within your church, attend mass regularly, and be financially supporting your church to qualify for the subsidy. You can obtain a Pastor’s Endorsement Form by contacting Mary Little at the church office: 717-762-1914.
Neumann Scholarship Foundation: NSF provides partial scholarships to students in one of the largest private school systems in the state of Pennsylvania–the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Harrisburg. You may find more information at NSF by checking out http://www.newpa.com. Forms may be downloaded or obtained in the school office by calling 717-762-3221. Ask for Nina Miller, school secretary. Click here for the latest update about NSF eligibility from the diocese.
St. Andrew Catholic Church also has Tuition Angels. We periodically place notices in the church bulletin, and parish families donate directly to the school to financially assist school families who are in need.
St. Rita’s Woman’s Group: Awards St. Andrew School a $500 scholarship annually to be given to a student from St. Rita’s Church.
Scrip Program Assistance: Families can download the application form, print it out, and return the completed application to the school.
