Mrs. Lindsay Salmon
Principal
.Mrs. Lindsay Salmon has been a valued member of the SAS family for over 16 years. She began her career as a long term substitute for both 5th and 6th grades. In 2007, she accepted a full-time teacher position and dedicated nine years to shaping both the spiritual and academic formation of her second graders. In the summer of 2016, God opened the door to a new opportunity for Mrs. Salmon. She now serves our Saint Andrew community as school principal.
Mrs. Salmon is a 2007 graduate of Shippensburg University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Salmon also holds a Master's Degree in Education which she earned from Wilson College in 2012. In December of 2018, Mrs. Salmon received her principal certification from Immaculata University.

Mrs. Lisa Ulrich
Kindergarten
Mrs. Lisa Ulrich has been serving St. Andrew School as Kindergarten teacher for the past 17 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree from The Pennsylvania State University and obtained her teacher certification from the Wilson College Teacher Intern Program. Mrs. Ulrich currently serves our school as the head teacher.

Mrs. Colleen Kassman
1st Grade
Mrs. Kassman is one of our newest additions to St. Andrew. She graduated from Wilson College with her B.S. in Elementary Education and holds her Master's Degree in Education from Wilson College as well. Mrs.Kassman has been married 24 years and lives in Waynesboro with her husband and two boys, Michael and Austin, who both graduated from St. Andrew School. She also has two cute dogs named Jack and Charlie too.


2nd Grade

Mrs. Melissa Blades
3rd Grade
In 1998, Mrs. Blades graduated with honors from Duquesne University. She has experience teaching 2nd grade for the Talbot County Public School and 3rd grade and kindergarten for the Frederick County Public Schools. Mrs.Blades began her career at Saint Andrew School in 2008 when she started teaching in the computer lab and working with remediation groups. In 2014, she became the 3rd grade classroom teacher.
Mrs. Meagan Yellott
4th Grade
Mrs. Yellott received her bachelor's degree in 2005 from AIU. After substituting in the WASD for a year, she returned to college to pursue her Teaching Certification at Wilson College. She graduated through the Teacher Intern Program in May of 2016. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Education through Wilson College. This is her third year at St. Andrew.



Mrs. Karen Watts
6th Grade
Mrs. Watts received her bachelor degree in elementary education (k-6) from York College of PA. From there she taught 4th grade for 6 years in North Carolina. After moving back to Waynesboro, she spent 2 years at home while doing graduate work at Shippensburg University in the area of Reading. Mrs. Watts has been teaching at St. Andrew since 2014

Mr. Stephen Phenicie
7th Grade
Mr. Phenicie has been teaching at St. Andrew for ten years. He has experience teaching both fifth and fourth grades. Mr. Phenicie has a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Mount St. Mary's University and a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University.
Mrs. Jennifer Dennis
8th Grade
Mrs. Dennis received her undergraduate degree from Mt. St. Mary’s College in 1995. Shortly thereafter she happily took on the role of mom. Mrs. Dennis began her journey with St. Andrew School as a student many years ago. She began her professional relationship with St. Andrew School in 2004 as the Librarian and has most recently held the position of Director of Development for the past 7 years. Mrs. Dennis is currently pursuing her Master’s in Teaching (K-8) with a dual certification in special education at Mt. St. Mary’s.

Mrs. Kathy Tylicki
Library
Mrs. Tylicki grew up in Williston, a small town in northwest Ohio. She earned her BA at Bowling Green State University. She has three sons, two dogs, two cats, and one wonderful husband. Her favorite book is Leave it to Psmith by P.G. Wodehouse which still sends her into fits of laughter.


Mrs. Laura Danyluk
Art
Mrs. Danyluk is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. She was an Assistant Teacher in a Diagnostic classroom for eight years. Mrs. Danyluk married into the Navy and traveled the Mid-Atlantic coast until settling in Waynesboro. She has been teaching art at Saint Andrew since 2006.

Mrs. Melissa Bonner
Kindergarten Assistant
Mrs. Bonner graduated from Shippensburg University with a B.S. in Business Administration.She worked for nine years at Beck Manufacturing and she was required to be fluent in all computer and operating systems. In 2007, Mrs. Bonner started volunteering in classrooms, lunch duty, and teaching the Read Naturally program to the children. In 2014, she officially joined the Saint Andrew team when she was hired as kindergarten aide and computer teacher. Mrs. Bonner is also looking forward to adding gym teacher to her resume this year.
Mrs. Tonya Dieterle
Music
Mrs. Dieterle graduated from Shepherd University with a B.A. in Music Education K-12 with an emphasis in instrumental music. Mrs. Dieterle has been teaching privately for 28 years, providing instruction on a variety of wind instruments and piano. Before her arrival at St. Andrew School in 2012, she spent 13 years at St. Joseph School in Martinsburg, WV where she taught general music grades K- 5 and both beginner and advanced band.
Tonya is a widowed mother of 3 girls ages 17, 15, and 11 and a brand new kitten, Gandalf. Her favorite musical memory is touring Europe with American Music Abroad after high school and falling through the stage on Bastille Day in Strasbourg, France.
